COMING SOON--A NEW HOME

We have traded for a new RV. Our current RV is eight years old and has some issues we don't want to deal with so after some serious deliberation we decided to trade before we go to Alaska. When we sold our place in Columbia, we knew we would have to reinvest in another RV if that was to be our home. We had thought we would wait until we got back from the Alaska trip. However, Sharon felt I would be worrying about issues with this one to the point I couldn't relax and enjoy the trip. I certainly didn't want that either. After finding this one and feeling like it was good quality for the money we decided to go ahead. "Hopefully", this one will last us out.

2012 COLUMBUS 320RS

We had told Paul and Brenda about our concerns and they saw the COLUMBUS 320RS at an RV show in Springfield.  They told us about it and after talking with them about it, we went to Boerne, near San Antonio, to look at one. All three they had were sold. We came back home and talked some more and ended up calling the salesman from the dealership at the Springfield RV Show. We called soon enough to be able to negotiate the show price which was significantly better than what we could have done with the dealership here.

Since we had to order the rv, it will be six to eight weeks before delivery. We placed the order March 05th, so we are expecting it around the last of April. We hope this is enough time to get any problems worked out by the first of June when we head north.

Thanks Paul and Brenda, for all the time spent with us in consultation. It is always difficult to make these decisions. I am sure it will work out fine and we will be happy in our new home. If we are not, we will blame it all on you guys! LOL! We know nothing is perfect and things are usually what you make of them. We are excited and look forward to making the move. Happy we got the deal we did and still, really can't believe it.
                                                                                                                                                               

The Columbus 320RS has several features we didn't have on our current fifth wheel and some features we never expected to have. The rolling kitchen island is really convenient and the first we had seen like it.
