Although this week does not feel like the end of summer, we are moving into September and the changing of seasons. It has been a busy summer for us and seems to have really gone by quickly.
We were welcomed back to Missouri last spring by a snow storm just as we reached Paul & Brenda's. Winter was hanging on as summer seems to be now. Labor Day weekend is only six days away so we know cool, crisp days are soon to follow.
We have been "Workampers" at Lazy Day Campground this summer. It has been a great experience and we appreciate Kim & Tony giving us this opportunity. We hope we have helped them to have some time off which they might otherwise not have been able to enjoy. We only have a month left and our routine will be changing. We haven't been able to find the job we were looking for this winter so, may or may not be working.
Most of you are aware of Sharon's parent's health issues this summer. They have now moved to a residential care center and will be selling their home and personal possessions at auction, September 29th.
After we complete our time at Lazy Day, the auction is completed and things are settled, we will head south again. We always stop at Paul & Brenda's for a few days. Then we have a reunion with the Alaska group in Branson, October 14-18. We considered going to Arizona this year however, did not make any plans so as of today, plan to return to the hill country of Texas. One day at a time, and if that job offer comes through, driving that free RV for $$, we might have to go where it takes us.
Wherever you are in your work and travels, ENJOY THE JOURNEY.
