OUR LAST WINTER WITH SNOW???????

This old lady is "NOT" Sharon even if she resembles her in some way!!!  She is our neighbor and is adding salt to the ice left on the street. She just can't wait for it to be gone. Kind of like us!! She didn't even wait long enough to get out of her p.j.'s but she did roll them up so they wouldn't get wet.

We have gotten rid of a lot of "stuff" the last few months. Thanks to all of you who have helped by taking things off our hands. So far, we haven't missed ANY of it! We have cleaned the carpet in the house and just today in the RV. (Thanks Brad & Joy for letting us use the Bissell). We are making progress. Also, as of today, there is a "FOR SALE" sign in our yard. We actually put a sign up several days ago on the bulletin board at the mail box. Now, we are waiting for you to call and make an offer. If it is even close, we will not refuse, so don't offer unless you want to own another home. You do have to be 55 though to live in this beautiful "Adult Mobile Home Community".

About eight months, 244 days to be exact, until we will be "ON THE ROAD AGAIN".  We may be full-time RVer's before that. If the house should sell soon, we will move into the RV. I know we still don't have things thinned out enough, but we know where more of it is going and will let the rest go with the house, consign it, give it away, or the trash man cometh on Thursdays!

Our best friend and roommate will not be going on this journey with us. As most of you know by now, Sissy is gone and we miss her a lot. It is amazing how different it is without her. There is no one to welcome us when we get home, no one begging for food (spaghetti was her favorite) or treats, no one staring at Sharon all night long wanting to go out. I think our back door must wonder why we are not opening and closing it twenty times a night. She had been a part of our lives for over 14 year, older than most of the grandchildren, and it is an adjustment. Seems like she should be waiting in the truck........ready to get on the road with us!

Thanks again to all of you for your support and helping us to get ready for our future.

Lon & Sharon
